Book Review: Bloodlines -The Ancestry by Lela Lane
What starts out as what one thinks as a run-of-the-mill vampire book, turns out to be a solely unique familial ancestral history and separate psychological treatise on cult phenomena.
Thoroughly enjoyable, even though vampire, paranormal fiction isn’t my favorite genre. I’m more into Mystery and autobiography but since she’s a friend and had asked me to read her book, I agreed. I am so glad I did! I found myself reading until the book was finished. I may question the girl’s non-reaction to her sudden change in geography and life-circumstances, but the secondary characters wholly and fully support the young woman so she has no second thoughts.
Here’s hoping to a fulfilling second book by Lela Lane.
