WordPress just notified me that I registered four years ago today for this blog. Over the years it’s been through a few transformations, starting off as a writing blog, then covering past subjects from different networks I had previously belonged, finally changing to being a base for all my books, writing and ‘happenings’, plus keeping the blog as a page.
This is my ninth year blogging, though. I started with an old blog network called 451 press, staying there nearly five years, then joining a smaller blog network a fellow blogger started after 451 shut down. I was with the smaller network about a year or so when I decided to break out on my own. This has been quite a learning experience! One thing was how difficult earning money was, having no advertisers, backers or companies paying me like they did the old networks.
Eventually, I just wrote for me, on things I liked and have nearly 3000 followers. Hits are different and counted differently than followers. And not everyone that reads the blog is counted as either one. The ones that are counted as reading the blog ranges from 10-100 hits per blog post. What will this one hit? No idea. My landing page is about my books, I’ve got eight of them, or rather, seven ebooks and a print book out. Writing book number nine this year.
So thank you all very much for following and reading my posts the past four years! I’ve had fun bringing you items and subjects I think are interesting and hopefully, so do you.
