1/2-1 Plain Chocolate Cake


Created a Simple Chocolate Cake after looking through all my cookbooks and not finding a simple, plain chocolate cake recipe. Simple Recipe, Simple Measurements, Simple Ingredients.

1/2-1 Plain Chocolate Cake

cream:

1/2 cup butter (one stick-softened in micro for 20 sec)
1 cup sugar.

blend in:

2 eggs (throws off the 1/2-1 but 1 is too dry) set aside.

Sift:
1 cup whole wheat flour,
1 cup white flour,
1/2 c chocolate powder,
1 tsp ea. baking soda and powder.

Add dry to wet alternating with 1/3 dry, 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt, mix; add 1/3 dry, 1/2 cup yogurt, mix; add last 1/3 dry, 1/2 cup water, mix.

Save butter wrapper to rub 13×9 pan, dust with 1 tbsp choco powder.

Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
