From student to not student.
Decided I didnt like doing homework 12 hours a day afterall. Especially Math and Coding. Why the Vocational Assessor wrote in her report that web development was a viable career for me is beyond me. I dont like math or fiddly little detail crap work that coding requires. So, told them to just close my file and I would just keep writing novels that no one wants to read.
Speaking of, I’ve been marketing the revised edition of Aside of Murder the past week and got 18 downloads. For all the work i put into the damn marketing of it, it should have been 180 downloads. Had over 500 views but 18 downloads? And it was FREE!!!!! Ah well, I know the old saying, not everything will appeal to everyone, but c’mon. What was the deal?
Also, looks like Aside of Murder has finally been distributed to the ebook Etailers! But just the cover, the descriptions and novel itself is still the previous version. So keep an eye out on Amazon, B&N, Kobo, Diesel, Versant, Blio and Sony online bookstores. The only online etailer that the full new version is on is still Smashwords.com.
Had my eyes opened to the selfishness of other authors. I dont mind doing book reviews for other authors but when they ask me specifically, I do expect a peer review of my novel as well. One ego-filled author told me “I dont read other authors books” and “I dont do tit for tat or back scratching peer book reviews”. What a jerk. If that head were any bigger, it would explode all over the north american continent.
And an FYI: I have no control on HOW my novel appears on your kindle, nook, kobo, ereader or app. IF you are going to review the novel, please review it on the basis of the content, characters, plot and overall ‘read’. Please do not review based on how the chapters ‘scrunch’ together, or the plot breaks didnt follow through, I have no control over that.
Thank you.
