Happy First Day of Fall 2012

Happy official Autumn and Fall, I guess, everyone! Time for hot cocoa, hot buttered rum, warm red wines, walking and crackling through colorful leaves, breaking out warmer fall jackets and sweaters.  Holding hands with your spouse, kids and loved ones, walking through a park, forest or trail, sharing favorite Fall memories of years past.  Coming home to a steaming mug of  hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick swirling about.

Photo: Fall also means hot soups, crusty thick breads, homemade chicken pot pies, roast hams and turkeys, cinnamon sprinkled roasted squash, vegetable soups made a hundred different ways.

Fall also means hot soups, crusty thick breads, homemade chicken pot pies, roast hams and turkeys, cinnamon sprinkled roasted squash, vegetable soups made a hundred different ways, watching crisp mornings turn into days that nip at your nose. Sharing some hot soup and dunking the crusty bread, laughing and chatting with family and friends.

So with this wish, I give you warm Fall wishes in front of a rolling, roaring fire with loved ones, wearing your favorite sweater, drinking your warm Fall memories.
