My review:
Quite a collection of soups in this tiny 224 page cookbook. As stated in the inside cover jacket, there are recipes for any taste, whether it is vegetarian, lean meats, broths, stocks there will be something for everyone and every taste. Each recipe is accompanied by a full color photograph, the ingredients are easy to find in most any grocery store, no specialty foods needed. Just basic foods prepared in new ways. That’s what I love about creative cooking: foods you are already familiar with but shown new ways to cook and present to you and your guests.
The recipes are simple enough to follow, no special cooking skills needed. Just basic kitchen equipment, such as knives, spoons, cooking pans and pots. Some ingredients may be pricey, such as fish, seafood, lamb and so on. Of course your prepared, finished dish will look nothing like the picture, but it will be tasty nonetheless.
I would give Mmmm…Soup a 4 star rating, being no longer in print but the recipes themselves, timeless.
