Over the years, I have tried numerous driver updating software, as many of you probably have. Either they are so complicated that a software engineer would be confused, or right before you hit ‘download’ a popup shows on your screen asking for your credit card number for $39.95. Talk about frustrating and disillusioning.
I was holding my breath when I found SlimDrivers on cnet, given 5 stars and numerous accolades. Riiiight, I thought. The download was free, then I hit ‘scan’ and waited for a popup. None came: instead, a list of drivers found for my aging TC1100 and a C400. Drivers updated for free!
I was very happy and may try some of their other programs, their website is https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimdrivers.php.
