Wertfrei Wednesday: U.S.: The World’s Nanny

Watching the news, one get’s the feeling that the U.S. is automatically expected to fork over Billions in foreign aid, send military aid to world hotspots that angels fear to tread and broker peace between people and countries that have no desire. Meanwhile, the U.S.’ healthcare is crumbling like our infrastructure while companies immigrate to some of those same foreign countries to evade taxes and outmaneuver the IRS into collecting much needed American revenue.

Why is the U.S. expected to automatically fork over billions in foreign aid? We are a broke nation, in the literal and figurative senses. There are no revenue sources-the middle and poor income groups of americans are pushed, pulled and squeezed right out of their homes. One can read equally ridiculous headlines how $B amount is sent to some war torn country to fund socks or other claim. We send already rich nations millions like we’re handing out lollipops at a children’s dentist.

Since companies and corporations are fleeing the U.S. for tax havens against American interests, our country is crumbling. Rich tax cheats exploit income disparity by withholding money like a miser-adding to their already burgeoning empires. Our Nation’s highways and byways are full of potholes, dissolving in our acid rain that the Media is careful not to talk about. Got to keep those middle and poor income class americans in the dark, you know.

When is the U.S. going to wake up?
