Five Hours Before the Wedding

Booked the Olympic Sculpture Park for the Wedding! May be right under this piece!

So, three people just backed out. What is it with Seattleites? Passive-Aggressive Shits who say one thing and do another. ON the day of our Wedding. I should be used to it, I mean, it’s happened each time I tried to throw a Wine Party, invite people to dinner, set up a meeting for coffee/movie/walk, people agree just to shut me up then totally plan to never show up and not tell me. That’s just the Seattle way. BF found out when he called them this morning for the time, they backed out on the phone. Not even an email or text message. Hate Seattle people for this very reason. Promises to show up for a coffee/party/thing to just never show up with no message beforehand. SO you’re just waiting and never finding out.  I get asked how I like Seattle and I always say “The scenery is pretty-the mountains, the bay, but the people aren’t”. I moved here for the city and nature, not the people.  They should realize if I”m inviting you to share MY wine, I really like you for a friend. If you just don’t show up without telling me first, you are on my shit list forever.

Still, I’m very excited and happy! Getting married to the guy I love, at Olympic Sculpture Park, on a bright, clear, sunny day with cool temps, then a Reception Cruise on Lake Union.  How many people can say that?
