The second book in my Rose Petal Wine Murder Mystery series was published three years ago, the first being published five years ago. Although I’ve written other books besides these two (11 as of the last count), this third book in the series has given me nothing but trouble. Difficulty with computers crashing, software eating or deleting pages and pages of hard work, interruptions from life and so on, adnauseum. I’m beginning to wonder if this series will ever get finished, never mind read by the public. The second novel hasn’t gotten downloads or reviews, never mind requests for the third (or 4th-7th that I had planned). When this third novel gets finished and published, i’ve thought of lowering the price for the first one down to either $.99 or free to garner interest in the series. My current free ebooks have gotten downloads but no further interest in other books I have or even reviews on any of the others. All writers have down periods but that’s all mine seems to be-all downsides.
