Coming Into The Light

Finally seeing the light in life!

Life has gotten brighter recently, seeing the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. Slowly paying off bills, (difficult on low-income, but making headway, nonetheless), making plans to buy needed furniture, treating myself to some rings (some crystal bar rings, metals, gems) and continuing eating right and exercising, furnishing plans for the apartment and so forth.

Also getting a handle on my health again, emotional, mental, physical, spiritual. After being in the ‘dark’ for so long, I’m finding myself again and liking what I see. That means also taking a hard look at what I can do and accept there are things I will not accomplish. For example, I’m at the age where I accept my body for what it is: 14 years post-transplant, heart surgeries and many other health issues. So I’ve accepted I’ll never have the perfectly fit male body and that’s ok. I do what I can, exercise-wise, when I can and how I can.  I do light-weight exercises, exercycle pedals, walking, yoga.

I’m also getting into the  new Rosacea meal plans that, along with diabetes-heart-transplant meal plans, is healthier and it shows. I can already see a difference with the rosacea on my face-the red rash and flushing has minimized, the painful burning has lessened. Will it ever be gone completely? No, but what is there is bearable than what it was before. No more tomatoes though, so I’ll be developing a Roasted Red Pepper sauce for the pasta-substitutes (found a sorghum based pasta and want to try it out!). I’ve found a skin care routine that works for me: a micellar cleansing water, then an anti-rosacea gel and finally an anti-rosacea moisturizing cream.

I’ve also gotten back into writing again. I wrote my first gay cozy, Chicken Tried Chicken, and am now writing another paranormal book (which I’ve been hinting and teasing about in my twitter account-see side panel for the link). In that vein, I’ve gotten the rough outlines done for the Rose Petal Wine Murder Mysteries books 3-4-5. The major plots are done, flows smoothly and now working on subplots and sub-characters for each book.

Coming back to life feels so good.
