Weight Loss and Healthier Skin

During the month of August, I went on the Rosacea Diet I created, based on foods I wasn’t allergic to. That was in addition to my Simple Healthy Fresh cooking and foods. The Rosacea inflamed due to heat, cold and foods such as tomatoes, eggplant, dairy, beef, wheat-based foods, pastas, some fruits and vegetables. I posted before on a Rosacea diet and the foods I could have. Also gone was hot coffee, instead, I switched to cool/room temperature or cold coffee. I added 4o ounces water, in addition to the 20 ounces cold coffee and 10 ounces decaffeinated teas. I did my low-impact workouts at home, light weights (2 and 3 lb weights), exercise bands and my exercycle, in addition to light yoga. I upped my skin care routine to a micellar water cleanser with cotton pads, an anti-rosacea gel-prosacea, and an anti-redness/anti-rosacea moisturizer, LilyAna Naturals with Pomegranate and Rose.

I’ve lost 5 pounds, I’m back at 163 and losing, my  skin is clearer and less red than before, and I’m feeling happier and healthier. I’ve ditched beans and legumes due to allergies, switched to more low-rosacea fruits, cabbage, salads, zucchini and winter squash.

I’m happier with this new diet and think I’ll keep it.
