Upgrading the Apartment Decor

After moving with almost nothing and saving a bit out of my social security each month plus paying off a credit card, I was able to invest in my apartment by purchasing some newI furniture.  The round ottoman is in the corner of the bedroom, I got for $200 off the Amazon retail price–though I had ordered a 47″ round ottoman, they sent the 39″ round ottoman. I’ve left a message for the retailer to refund half the price or send the correct one. I was going to order a love seat plus a 50″ rectangular ottoman, but this was $300 cheaper in the long run. If I get the right one, this will be great!

I was going to order the 47″ round ottoman for the living room, but the 50″x30″ went on sale for 65% off on the Amazon Warehouse, so I could not pass that up. This one works out better because I can now fit a 71″ sofa when I can afford it in six months, the time to pay off the two credit cards. This ottoman is good, having my two existing contemporary chairs in front, with the decorating books on either end, leaving the center for a coffee table and shoeless feet. The glass and wood table against the wall was 27.5% off, another deal I could not pass up. I missed the last two times it went on sale so I was quick to purchase this time. This is a 32″ refurbished TV, which I’m happy with. I really need an Amazon Fire stick because the Island I’m living on gets no broadcast TV stations.

I was going to get the metal four poster bed on my amazon wish list, but the price went up and these other items went on sale.  There are matching bookshelves I’d get if I had the extra money!

These will take six months to pay off the credit cards I used and money will be tight. I’m happy, though, because I’m starting to regain my life back.
