Smartphone and Communication

The Nokia E7 did not work out, I could not upgrade to the new software, nor could I find anyone to help. I returned the phone and am hoping to get at least a partial refund. I do like the FTec slider phone, but do not have $700. I’m just paying off the Galaxy Note 8. There is a clip-on keyboard, a Korean-English one, that is not ideal but will be better than the on screen keyboards and talk-to-text that never works.

So will be keeping the Note 8, along with the clip-on keyboard since I do not call due to hearing loss. Android Pie software with One UI finally arrived on the Note 8, almost a year after it’s introduction. But Samsung and TMobile are notoriously slow in sending out updates. That is why this will be my last Samsung Phone.  The Samsung Fold is an attractive device, plus would be great for my use, but it is out of my budget at $2,000 US.

I can finally upgrade my low-income phone account from the HTC Desire 510 to a Moto E5 Plus, which I’m quite excited about! I bought a 9×6 keyboard and cover for the E5. What I love about the keyboard, is it can be used with Windows and Android. I had been looking for a portable keyboard for awhile, the last one did not work. Plus, it works via bluetooth, not a dongle.

Very happy with what I’ve ended up with regarding smartphones.
